The Oleksandr Usyk-Daniel Dubois unified heavyweight title fight will now take place two weeks after its original target date. The slight delay is for good reason. Alex Krassyuk, Usyk’s career-long promoter and head of K2 Promotions-Ukraine, revealed that the bout will now take place August 26 at Stadion Wroclaw (Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw) in Wroclaw, Poland. The switch is to align the event with Ukraine Independence Day (August 24), with a crowd of 24,000 expected in the heavily Ukrainian-populated region.
