A CANELO ALVAREZ STORY | WHERE GREATNESS WAS BORN

In this video, Chepo Reynoso, the father of Eddy Reynoso gives Constantino Garcia of Little Giant Boxing a small tour of Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. Specifically shows us the legendary gym that gave birth to the legend Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. In this short film, we visit the legendary Gym Julian Magdaleno. Chepo Reynoso gives us a tour of the gym where Canelo used to train as a child, teen, and man and where he grew from novice fighter to a living legend that has conquered the world of boxing. Canelo finally came back to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to fight John Ryder after 12 years of being absent in his hometown. Canelo beat John Ryder via unanimous decision after breaking his nose, and dropping him two times in the fight.
